MIH*Jet represents the best in venturi-type steam jet cleaners. There are no pumps, motors or moving parts. MIH*Jet works on the principle of combining a detergent with water and steam from existing lines. High velocity and high temperature boost the detergent's effectiveness when cleaning floors, machinery and equipment. MIH*Jet supplies the power when you need it and the accessories to fit any clean-up job. MIH*Jet is fully guaranteed for one year against defects in workmanship and materials.
You cannot buy a more durable unit, yet what makes the MIH*Jet so special is how incredibly simple it is to operate. The system is activated by merely opening three valves. This allows steam, water, and detergent to automatically mix in the venturi and be forced through the discharge nozzle. The result is a high pressure jet stream.
Complete safety is assured by a built-in overflow valve that dumps the hot water if the hose ruptures or the discharge is shut off at the lance. This feature is found in all MIH*Jet systems.
Steam has been a practical source of energy for the last three hundred years. The MIH*Jet produces pressurized hot water and detergent. This hot detergent water is very effective and safe in the most demanding industrial environments. The MIH*Jet is intrinsically safe because it contains no moving parts. The only external power source is plant steam in a pressure range of 40 to 150 psig and water in a pressure range of 40 to 80 psig with a minimum flow rate of 250 gph.
The MIH*Jet converts heat energy of steam into kinetic energy of water and steam as they are mixed and forced through a venturi system within the jet body. At the lance nozzle outlet the MIH*Jet is able to produce pressurized hot water mixed with a liquid cleaner or detergent (if so desired) at a pressure of approximately 2.3 times the inlet steam pressure and at a temperature of approximately 185°F.
The MIH*Jet can accommodate a wide range of steam pressures and flow capacities from 250 gph up to 1,250 gph. Plant water pressure is not a determining factor for the use of the MIH*Jet as long as the flow capacity is sufficient.
The MIH*Jet is easy and safe to operate. Operation is as simple as opening and adjusting the water and steam valves for a quick and efficient clean-up. No pumps, motors, or moving parts to worry with or maintain; just open and close the steam and water valves.

MIH*Jet model LPS/40-60 operates on cold water and plant steam at 40 to 60 psi. As with the original MIH*Jet, the system uses no pumps, motors, or moving parts. MIH*Jet model MBC-1 requires on cold water and plant steam of at least 60 psi up to 150 psi. The jet produced by the mixing nozzles equals in excess of twice the incoming steam pressure. For example, if the steam line pressure is 150 psi, the discharge pressure will be over 300 psi. These models are available in capacities of 250, 450, 600, 1000, and 1250 gallons per hour output.
