It has a flow rating of 3.5 GPM with a maximum pressure of 1200 PSI. The pump spins at about 1200 RPM, all this combines to give the 290 pump a very low pulsation and very smooth pumping of liquid through itself. The cylinders and sleeves of this unit are made from hardened chrome platting making this the perfect pump if you use chemicals that have a PH range of about 5 - 9.
